While visiting Mt. Shasta recently, I had a chance to create a
small piece near a cascading river in Panther Meadows.
I was completely taken with this acid green moss that grows on
certain species of trees. If I had a few days to create, I would have
covered the forest floor with a larger piece.
It was the coolest botanical material.
The moss becomes greener after it has fallen from the trees.
The mountain peak is 14,000 ft. and the meadows are at 8,000.
