The process of rendering the design is from the traditional Indian art of rangoli, simply creating a dot template on the ground and drawing with rice flour.

I have tried creating rangoli my self (on paper and using sand, roses, candles and a lot of help) but the patterns that I manage to create are not half as beautiful or energetically divine as yours! If you are ever in the UK and fancy giving a workshop I will be the first to sign up!
