Pallet Wood Topbar Beehive

 Just finished building my top bar beehive using 5 wood pallets. 

This was untreated wood marked HT that was rigorously sanded,

with the exterior finished in pure tung oil.

My top bar hive built entirely with hand tools.

I wanted to create a beautiful home to welcome my bees. 

Here is a sound blessing from the bees, birds, and elementals of the area.

I was amazed to see this image while opening all the bee photos I'd taken recently.

This photo is filled with micro orbs!

This image was taken during hot mid-afternoon sun.  

The plants and flowers were completely dry and there had been no rain.  There was no mist.

No moisture to cause refractions to the lens.

Have you pet a bee today? 

Truly. 

Bees LOVE salvia, chive, thyme, heather, lavender, snapdragon, sea thrift,

geranium 'Johnson's Blue', hyssop, cosmos, and verbena. 

 

The best thing we can give to bees are the plants they love

and our attention to their wellbeeing.
